Iwate Prefectural University hosted a symposium, Northern Iwate's Industry & Social Innovation Research Zone Project on July 30th, 2019. It aimed to enhance problem-solving projects and regional revitalization of northern Iwate, as well as actively disseminating research results, while strengthening strategic industrial and social activities. The symposium had 134 participants and active discussion to inspire regional problem-solving and the innovation of a richer community.
