Admission Status for Academic Year 2012

 Iwate Prefectural University carries out student enrollment based on our admission policy in order to develop human resources that contribute the region and meet the needs of the citizens of the prefecture for advanced education.

 Various initiatives were undertaken in the 2011 academic year, such as strengthening ties between high schools and the university, and responding to high school curriculum guidelines. Also, there bus service support was established for an open campus event targeting high school students who were victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, and special earthquake disaster admissions selections were conducted, with 22 of the 39 examinees passing.

 The admission policy of Iwate Prefectural University is based on the founding principles and objectives of the school.

 Those who agree with the founding principles and objectives of Iwate Prefectural University, and merit being nurtured as “independent individuals with highly specialized skills and knowledge, deep intelligence, and rich sensitivity”.
