Functioning as a regional think-tank, “Open Research on Community Issues” has been implemented since the 2006 academic year in order to contribute to the resolution of community issues. In the 2010 academic year, many of the proposed topics were in line with the university’s research areas, resulting in a record number of topics being approved.
