Admission Status for Academic Year 2011

 Iwate Prefectural University carries out student enrollment based on our admissions policy in order to develop human resources that contribute to the region and meet the needs of the citizens of the prefecture for higher education.
 During the Academic Year 2010, in addition to carrying out proactive initiatives to network with high schools, such as campus tours and visiting lectures, internal systems such as the high school networking committee were strengthened, and we have also conducted well-known initiatives and responded to the changes in the admission examinations from Academic Year 2012 onwards.

Admission Policy

 The admission policy of Iwate Prefectural University is established based on the Founding Principles and Objectives of the school.

 Those who agree with the Founding Principles and Objectives of Iwate Prefectural University, and merit being nurtured as “independent individuals with highly-specialized skills and knowledge, deep intelligence, and rich sensitivity”.
