Miyako is a coastal city overlooking
the Pacific. Our campus is located on a hill just outside
this great city. Since its founding in April 1990 as Iwate
Prefectural Miyako Junior College, our school has been a valuable
resource for higher education in Iwates coastal regions.
Our motto is to provide easily understandable education. More
than 200 students learn in this relaxed, at home atmosphere.
From theories to practical skills.
Department of Business Management and Information Sciences
The specialized courses in this major can be divided into two categories. Management and accounting study includes examination of corporate activities, marketing, and community policy. Learning does not stop at mere theory, but includes effective use of training aimed at real-world situations. The study of information sciences focuses on the acquisition of basic literacy about and knowledge of the theoretical systems of the field. In addition to improving your understanding of computers and software, you will become proficient in the basics of practical information processing for management and accounting.
We look forward to seeing more international students join us in Miyako.
